Atchuo Ueta Palik, 27, of Kailua-Kona died May 17, 2013, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Feb. 13, 1986, in Kosrae, Micronesia, he was a kitchen helper at Wendy’s restaurant and member of the Kosrae Kona Organization and Kosrae Congregational Church.

Friends may call at 8 a.m. June 7 at the Kosrae Congregational Church in Kalaoa for a 10 a.m. service. Burial follows in the Waimea county cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.

He is survived by mother, Nita Freddy of Kailua-Kona; adoptive mother, Linne Palik of Honolulu; brothers, Casey (Tricia) Freddy, Winton (Minnie) Freddy, Freddy (Pauline) Freddy, Justin Freddy, all of Kailua-Kona, Tulensa (Meriam) Skilling of Kosrae, Micronesia; sisters, Michigo (Rensley) Thompson of Kailua-Kona, Kimie (Alokoa) Sigrah of Kosrae, Micronesia, Gazaia Freddy of Nauru, Micronesia; stepbrothers, Tulensa Palik and Tholman Palik, both of Texas, Samuel (Clara) Palik and Jacob Palik, both of Kosrae, Micronesia; stepsister, Lucy (Hobson) Abraham of Honolulu; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
